It had been some time since I last saw my brother-in-law, Papas. Today he surprised me and called me early in the morning to let me know that he was coming over to visit. On the phone, me being half-asleep, he tells me, in his south Chicagoan accent, “And be ready. I am bringing my big ass dogs.” That to me meant a Pitt, a Rott, or some other massive dog. He pulls up opens his car door… and out pop these two little black mutts; adorable and spunky little critters Shiloh and Swag. The one in the picture above is Shiloh.

Today I took my nephew, Sy, to the duck pond to play around with the ducks. I figured I would take advantage of the trip and snap a few shots while I was there. I never realized how ugly ducks are -- well at least the one at that pond were. So at the end of the trip I decided to snap a few shots of some birds flying above.
